The world's largest sundial - Sundial Bridge, Redding, California

Welcome to the timeCrazy web site, devoted to musings of one sort or another on the subject of time, a blend of the serious and the trivial, the sublime and the ridiculous.

Amongst the many musings (time art, time jokes, time quotations etc.) are two particularly important pages, timeStory and timeStoryUpdate.

The timeStory page includes the script of ‘The New Genesis’, a short story of the very long time since time itself began, of the history of time in the sense of the evolution of the universe, our place in it, and our prospects.

And it is a story you can keep up to date on (see the timeStoryUpdate page) as scientific thinking on the evolution of the universe, and life in it, develops. But enjoy, too, the links to other sites, perhaps to buy some of the great, and fun, material out there about time (art, books, films, music, clock screensavers etc.)

NB Linking to Amazon through this site (using the Amazon link on this page - see right - or other pages) will help maintain this site and contribute (50% of earnings) to two charities (Médecins Sans Frontières and Greenpeace).
